ABOUT THE CLASS

What if the prayer you've potentially heard all your life held deeper dimensions than you ever imagined?

In this immersive class, we journey into the Aramaic roots of the Lord's Prayer, the ancient Semitic language that Jesus himself spoke and prayed. Drawing on the groundbreaking scholarship of Neil Douglas-Klotz, we move beyond familiar translations into something far more alive: an inner transmission, a prayer that carries powerful resonance for personal and collective challenges of our time.

Aramaic is a language of sound and vibration, meant to be felt in the body as much as understood by the mind. When we pray in this way, we are not simply reciting words. We participate  in a living current of sacred sound that awakens our connection to one another, the Earth, and the Divine presence woven through all things.

Douglas-Klotz teaches that once you hear and feel the true meaning of Jesus's messages in Aramaic, you discover that his focus and teachings weren't sin and guilt  but instead how to empower ourselves. Jesus wasn't instructing us to have faith in him but to practice a deep trust like he did, to perceive as he perceived, to believe with the same radical openness that he embodied. He was inviting us into a new consciousness: one in which the Sacred is not distant or separate but present in all.

This prayer in the vibration of the Aramaic language is a doorway. It carries an ancient guidance and resonance that is so relevant today. It is a way of looking at life, a way of being in the world.

Whether you come from a Christian background, a broader spiritual path, or simply are deeply curious as to how ancient wisdom can awaken our today's world, this class offers new eyes and ears, and a new way to pray, one that speaks directly to who we are and what our world needs now.

What We'll Explore Together

Through study, reflection, resonance, and shared inquiry, we will:

  • Enter the inner transmission of the Aramaic Lord's Prayer, its depth, vibration, living presence
  • Explore how this prayer speaks to our personal and collective challenges with power and clarity
  • Discover how sound and vibration awaken our awareness of our interconnectedness to one another, sensing the Sacred in all things
  • Learn how Jesus was calling us to become like him, to see, trust, and perceive as he did
  • Experience a new consciousness in which the Divine is not above us but within and among us
  • Connect with a community of fellow seekers walking this path together
