ABOUT THE CLASS

Welcome to our class with Pema Chödrön.

Life feels like it’s always throwing us curves. Come settle into a spacious, meditative workshop inspired by When Things Fall Apart, where we’ll explore Pema Chödrön’s teachings and engage in gentle, grounding practices to help us meet uncertainty with openness and steadiness.

Jackie wanted to learn more about opening her heart when she arrived at Mile Hi in 2006. All her life she had been taught to be kind to others, but she hadn’t spent a lot of time thinking what it meant to be kind and truly love herself.

That search lead to her discovery of what it means to open fully to life and practice love. Jackie will lead you on a journey to love yourself so you can fully love those around you, whether you agree with them or not. With spiritual practices, she will lead you to the kind of love that is healing and so necessary in a world filled with pain.
