ABOUT THE CLASS

In this four-week immersion, we enter the mystery of ancient Egypt to discover the Neteru, Divine Principles expressing through the Egyptian pantheon of gods and goddesses. Myth is about soulmaking. As we look through the lens of these ancient myths, it's possible to see each one as a soul invitation to move from outmoded ways of being to a greater, amplified life of inspiration.

By considering our own inner creative life, we connect with what Ernest Holmes referred to as a Power Greater Than Us. By activating this inner knowing, we are able to use this Power for good in our lives and in the world around is.

During this class, we will sit with Isis, Sekmet, Hathor, Anubis, and Osiris, teachers and guides of life, love, transition, healing, transformation, and resurrection. We will trace the soul's journey through the Duat, the underworld, which the Egyptians understood as the inner world: the terrain you navigate every time you enter silence.

In our four weeks together, we will:
  • Explore the living cosmology of ancient Egypt: creation, light, soul, and the architecture of relationship with, to, and in the Divine
  • Map the layers of the self—Ka, Ba, Akh—and discover what these ancient cartographers of the soul were describing
  • Work with sound, silence, and embodied practice to receive what we study
  • Arrive, week by week, at the moment the Egyptians considered most sacred: the weighing of the heart

This class is for you if you are ready to let one of the oldest traditions on Earth open a new doorway into your own heart.
The doors of the Silent Land are open for you; the doors of the Hidden Realm are broken down for you. The doormen extend their hands to you. The doormen rejoice at your coming and say:
Enter, favored one, and live here well beloved…
–The Egyptian Book of the Dead
